This was a video made for mental health for Monash University Disability Services, specifically talking about depression. This animation was made in collaboration with Jennifer Cheng.
Hype and Type
For this project, the purpose was to create or take an existing event, and promote by using illustration and typography together. This poster is to promote books and libraries in general and uses a minimised colour palette to emphasise the book, against the blue books and the typography. The typography was also to emphasise the effect of what books can do, and how stories and imagination can seep into reality by just reading a book.
'Sweet Indulgence' was a packaging project in order to design the graphics for chocolate packaging but also how to package the chocolates themselves. Instead of creating a new brand of chocolate, the brand Lindt was chosen to be rebranded towards a younger audience aimed towards 20 to 25 year olds. For the packaging itself, the three bars together would be called "Daredevil", the packaging is also cut at sharp diagonal angles to express the 'daredevil' feel.
'Sounding Type' was a brief to express a selected song in typographic means. The designs were to be made into packaging for a record, CD, and a cassette. These design solutions were in response to soundtracks from the cartoon Steven Universe.
For the design, it was heavily based upon the synthetic and the organic sounds that were mixed together in the soundtracks. Thus, the designs uses circles to emphasise the organic sounds, whereas the 'pixels' - represented by the coloured squares - are to show the synthetic sounds.
The Vector Mandala brief was to create a mandala by using a particular theme, book or film of any kind to create the symbols that referred to differen emotions that would make up the mandala.
For this brief, the book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee was chosen to be illustrated in this mandala and used some of the objects described in the book as symbols.

This animatic was created with the theme of trying to find something. This is emphasised by the minimal style of the animatic, keeping it simple to focus upon the hands and their journey.
This is a motion graphic music video to Aspen Forest by Gorillaz and was created to be shown on the exterior of the MADA building at Monash University. Created in After Effects.
For this brief, the aim was to create a poster and a promotional item for an event of your choice, in order to promote it. The 31st Harbin Ice and Snow Festival was chosen to be the event for this brief, and is illustrated by using vectors.
This style has been chosen in order not to complicate the buildings behind the type. The buildings seen here are also layered on top of each other, and are transparent in order to mimic the transparency of the actual buildings sculpted at the show.

The Baker’s Dozen Annual Report
This project was about making a publication with its content being from an annual report. The illustrations have been created in tone with a bakery and the publication uses soft colours to create a calming and homey mood.
